"I'll Get to It" is a tongue-in-cheek reflection on procrastination, creative blocks and rampant introspection. Creativity ebbs and flows. This song is the paddle we used to escape a particularly sticky ebb. The content of the music was very much influenced by its method of creation. We have, for years, been quietly writing songs the "2020" way. Which is to say, physical distance dictates that we compose without ever being in a room together. Our 4-bedroom band spans 500+ miles from OKC to St. Louis. We are musical pen pals. This song is a letter between old friends. An urgent message to just keep rowing.
